To everyone keeping an eye on our missionaries, Rob and Nick, we have updates. July 03 and 06 entries.

 July 03

The Lord is good.

He is deffinitely showing us his timing for all things.  We traveled to Congallo and Umaro yesterday to gather information to travel to Bellavista and Parayamarca.  Our translator, Manuel, has left to go back to work in Lima, Peru. 

We will be getting two new translators in a couple of days.  Their names are Daniel and Rita.  We are very excited to see them.  Right now we have another team of 3 people staying with us in Huancapi.  It is very evident that they are supposed to be here with us right now.  There seems to be a possible misunderstanding with the church here, led by Pastor Antonio, with some recent travelers to the village who are gringos (white people)  We ask that you pray for this situation and that the people will receive our apology so that we can grow together in Christ. 

We have been researching dental information, thanks to Denise, to lead a small clinic for the people to help them with dental hygiene.  May the Lord be in this situation. 
The lady who runs our Hotel said she will coming with us to church tonight, which is quite exciting.  We think she is catholic, but, time will tell.  Pray for her, her name is Senaida. 

Your prayers really impact lives here more than you might know.  I continue to ask you to pray for the people here.  There is a large catholic church with many atendees, and we would like to discourage idol worship in the town.  Praise the Lord for his perfect will.

Hello!

Last night Rob and I through Daniel preached the word of God to the congregation here in Huancapi.  It was a little difficult to talk through a translator, but we still got the word across.

I have to go!  Pray for the people!
