The Edge Peru is the long term mission goal of Crossroads Church of Norfolk to reach the people of Umaro Peru with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Partnered with Calvary Revival of Norfolk and several college students from Syracuse University, our vision is to go to the edge of lostness with hope.

For those of you who are keeping track of the team here on our website, we are happy to let you know that our Norfolk team has returned safely o Lima and have had an unbelievable week.
Though it was hard to leave the beatiful people and mountains of southern Peru, our week long team packed up yesterday and began the journey home. They will be boarding a plane tonight at 11 and flying through the night to arrive home tomorow morning. Please pray for their passage back to the states. Also do not forget that we still have team members out in the field in Ayacucho. Our group from Syracuse are planning on heading back out to Umaro to continue working with the pastor and his church while Glenn Tyler and Suzanne are spending some time in Huancapi with the Fernandez family and their church. We cannot begin to thank you for your support, this week we have really seen the Lord move in amazing ways, and we are really looking forward to sharing pictures, stories and miracles with everyon at home. Also keep your eyes open for more content to start filling up this website. We learned so much about the people of Ayacucho and will be making all of that information available here. Look out for an online journal compiling all of our stories and experiences, as well as biographies and pictures for some of the wonderful people we have met along the way. |
