The Edge Peru is the long term mission goal of Crossroads Church of Norfolk to reach the people of Umaro Peru with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Partnered with Calvary Revival of Norfolk and several college students from Syracuse University, our vision is to go to the edge of lostness with hope.

As our team prepares to leave Friday, we want to first thank you for your support up to this point as well as remind you to keep us in your prayers!
Glenn Tyler and Suzanne took off Weds to arrive in Lima early for Orientation with REAPSouth. While the rest of us prepare to go, we are so thankful for the support that was raised so far... financially and prayerfully. If it were not for that support it would be impossible to send our team of 16 missionaries. So thanks! As this may be the last post here for a little while, we ask that you remember us while we are abroad. Safety, health, wisdom and courage are all going to be incredibly important to us over the next couple weeks. In the exhaustive preparation for this trip we have certainly come to understand that those strengths can only come from one place. God. We haven't the energy or the determination as humans to withstand the elements and the attack of evil while working abroad. So we ask that you join us in prayer for empowerment. We hopefully will be able to update you quickly when we arrive in Lima... This all of course depends on an internet connection. So who knows. |
